Tune Your Ride: How Forsch's Modular Baffle System Lets You Customize Your Exhaust Sound

Your Exhaust, Your Sound

At Forsch Performance, we've spent over 20 years in the motorcycle industry — from the NHRA and NASCAR pits to the roads of Prince William, NB — engineering exhausts that don't just perform, they speak. And with our modular baffle system, you get to decide exactly what they say.

Whether you want a deep, throaty rumble at idle or an aggressive, full-throated roar at wide-open throttle, our system is fully tunable from the inside out.

What Is a Modular Baffle System?

A baffle is the internal component inside your muffler that controls how exhaust gases flow — and how your bike sounds. Most exhausts ship with a fixed baffle, locking you into one sound profile forever.

Forsch does it differently. Our modular design lets you swap, stack, or remove baffle components to dial in the exact tone and volume you want — without buying a new exhaust.

How to Customize Your Sound

Here's how riders are tuning their Forsch slip-ons:

  • More baffle = quieter, deeper tone — great for long touring days or noise-restricted areas.
  • Less baffle = louder, more aggressive sound — ideal for performance riding and making your presence known.
  • Mix and match endcaps — our endcap profiles also affect sound character and airflow, giving you another layer of tuning.

The Angry Baffle Sets

Our Angry Baffle Sets are purpose-built for Harley-Davidson M8 touring slip-on exhausts. Fabricated in Canada and designed to slip/tap right in, they're the easiest way to transform your exhaust note in under 30 minutes.

Endcaps: The Final Tuning Touch

Pair your baffle set with one of our performance endcaps to fine-tune both the look and sound of your exhaust. Different endcap profiles affect backpressure and tone — so you can go from subtle to savage.

Compatible With

  • Harley-Davidson Touring M8 (2017+)
  • Forsch Performance slip-on exhausts
  • Coming soon: Angry baffles for other aftermarket slip-on mufflers
